It is not up to me to decide if the 2x2 fellowship is the church of Jesus Christ. We have facts that prove a man, William Irvine, started the 2x2 fellowship around 1897. The only choice I have is to ignore the facts or accept them.

If I accept the facts, I can't accept just some of the facts; I have to accept them all. That includes accepting that this 2x2 church is not a continuation of the church established by Jesus 2000+ years ago; it is William Irvine’s church. I have to accept that there have not been meetings in homes since the time of Jesus. I have to accept that William Irvine went on to prove he was a false prophet. Don't you see how the theory on the 2x2 fellowship as a continuation of Jesus ministry starts to unravel?

I'm not willing to accept anything short of perfect when it comes to a group claiming to be Jesus' church.

I agree with you, the churches I've looked at so far leave a lot to be desired. But I'd be lying to myself if I said the 2X2 way gave me everything I wanted. I wanted answers to some obvious contradictions between the 2x2 way and the teachings of Jesus. I never got the same answer from the workers to these questions I asked. (if they were willing to answer them at all)

I don't mean to pick on anyone, and if you are happy with the 2x2's that's great. I hope you respect that I have not attacked you, and that I have not tried to get you to subscribe to another churches doctrine. I hope you understand that I keep pushing this particular issue with you, because I refused to accept the facts at first too and I suffered for it. You remind me of myself not that long ago, and I hope you are not like I was and allowing your pride to obscure your judgment.
